Q3 at a Glance
Industry occupancy is continuing to rise, reaching ~84% in September, with half of WelcomeHome’s communities surpassing 87% in Q3.
Every care type and region saw occupancy gains compared to Q2. The Northeast (88.0%) and IL (87.1%) are still leading occupancy rates.

Lead volumes are up 6% (+2 leads per 100 units) from Q2, but they’re still down 6% (-2 leads per 100 units) compared to last year. IL and the South showed the biggest increase in lead volume from Q2.
Retours are up across the industry, as operators place more emphasis on existing leads due to a decline in new leads compared to last year.
Data drop: Sales Directors connect with about 80% of leads, but 27% of those connected leads don’t move beyond the connection stage and close reasons vary widely by lead source.
